We all had a brilliant time trying to Escape! It was a great opportunity for team building and would thoroughly recommend it to anybody, whether it be for team building or just with friends.
I cannot give enough praise to you and Enya for your great communication throughout the booking process, it made life a lot easier when booking for a large group.
The curries were amazing and the special dietary requirements were all catered for exceptionally well.
We will definitely be back
10 of us went to Escape Rooms for a team event on 10th August and we all really enjoyed it. It was so nice to find a team building event that everyone could take part in, regardless of physical ability, age etc. and it certainly made our brains work. The rooms are well laid out and having someone on the end of a line to give some advice was most appreciated! Staff very pleasant and helpful – overall a great experience.
Such a fun experience and great for team building with colleagues. ‘Germ’ got everyone involved and kept us challenged and interested. Definitely going back and next time we’ll take advantage of the deal with food.
Went for our work’s away day- had a blast! Really good fun and great team–building. Definitely recommend a visit.
They gave up timing the boys! Good team building exercise for work outings! People who run it are very friendly, look forward to when they have a bar as well. Would recommend to anyone who likes a challenge! Can’t wait to try other rooms.
It is very difficult to find an activity which all members of a team will enjoy, but we certainly did by booking two games at the Live Escape Rooms in Plymouth. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the games, which were both very different. The first game ‘Germ’ was an excellent intro for us all, we then went off to lunch and came back in the afternoon to play the second game ‘The Clink’ (which proved a challenge for us all!) At the end of the day everyone in our group wanted to come back to play the other two games, which says it all! Martin was great fun, not patronising at all and we all fell in love with the handsome Rolo.
The venue itself is quirky; all of the previous teams have written their escape times on the wall and the decor in the bar area was colourful and relaxing. The host was welcoming (4 of our party got lost due to sat nav failure, and he was happy to delay our hour by 45 minutes) and he explained the rules well. The puzzles really made us work together, it’s amazing how we all found our own niches, but as part of a team. There were plenty of red herrings, but the clues were all there. One of my friends was quite sceptical about the idea of the escape room when we were booking it, but he loved the problem solving and we all enjoyed the adrenaline rush that came when we worked out each answer. It wasn’t all hard work though, there were plenty of giggles. The host did give us a few clues; he was watching us the whole time via CCTV and could tell when we were getting frustrated, but he only offered the clues, rather than just giving them to us. I would happily recommend the Escape Room, it’s really different to the usual team building activities and we were still discussing it over breakfast this morning.
